You need to post a discussion comment on one of my classmate. I need at least a 75 word comment on the discussion below.
According to our readings, "social contract theory is able to take into account the diversity of principles and laws across cultures. It is a major crime in some countries to even chew gum, while in America, people not only chew it, but stick it on the bottom of chairs and tables." (Pearson Learning Solutions, 2015) Social contract theory applies big in my opinion overseas in the Middle East area. When I went to Qatar I was actually shocked that not only can some woman not hold job positions that men held, but most cannot even expose their faces when they go out in public.
The above statement goes against pretty much everything we have been talking about as a class. Females should have the same right to a job as any man, I mean look at the military in the last couple of years! Many females have come up and passed special forces training which is a lot more than I could even dream of. I believe that everyone should be equal in the work space and everything would come together like glue.
