The differences in the rights of an accused person in a

A 8-10 page paper (with references) on the differences in the rights of an accused person in a judicial system in which they are presumed innocent (as the US is designed), from a judicial system that does not necessarily make that presumption. This is in view of the Amanda Knox case and I need to use the EU joining requirements (in general) along with the Italian judicial system (in specifics). Note, the thesis states "not necessarily presume innocence." It does not state "guilty until proved innocent."
