The closed limb of a macleod gauge


The closed limb of a macleod gauge has a diameter of 1mm and a value V above the level of the opening W of 250cm3. When the gauge is connected to a vacuum source the difference h in mercury level is observed to be 4mm. Calculate the pressure of the system under test.
