You are correct that the CIO must own these processes. Do you recommend replacing a CIO that laks experience implementing an EA? What are your thoughts?

I agree with the answer as the CIO of a company plays an important role in the company. When there is any big change is going to be introduced, there may be a call to change the CIO according to new requirements of the company. If a company grows from one stage to another, it means now it will be bigger in size, the operations will be complex and a more experienced and devoted person will be needed to fulfill the current needs of a company. If the current CIO has all these qualities, then there will not any requirements for his transfer. Before appointing any new CIO, he must be checked for the qualities such as his knowledge, experience, focused, attentive, patient and flexible. He must be able to create and introduce new changes in the organization and also must be capable to manage if any change occurs in the organization. When a company expends or faces some rapid changes there is also a requirements to hold the employees so that all can together work for the company growth. The CIO must also be capable of the quality to influence people so that he can make them to work in any conditions.
