The articular joints found in your body are classified

The articular joints found in your body are classified BOTH functionally and structurally. Select two joints that are classified differently. Try to select two joints that have not been described! Describe them based upon their structural and functional classification.

A - A type of joint in the human body are the hinge joints found in our fingers. These joints only allow for motion in one certain direction. These joints are functional because they are freely moving, and allow for extensive movement (Rizzo, 2010). Another example of joints found in the body are the syndesmosis joints found at the bottom of the tibia and fibula (Hermans, 2010). Syndesmoses are joints that occur when bones are connected by ligaments. These joints are structural because they allow for very little movement (Rizzo, 2010).
