That schedule tasks over a network of processing

Will a battery last longer if I charge it with a high current for a short time, or is it better to charge the battery with a low current for a long time to get the most energy? Our project will answer this question. We also hope to propose schemes that schedule tasks over a network of processing modules that makes the best use of available energy, which includes not only current battery power but also environmental charging capacity at each node. How is it done today? Currently the usual mandate is to simply charge the battery at the fastest speed possible given available charging capacity. A battery inside of a laptop for example will draw large current from a wall socket in order to charge the battery quickly. In a sensor node framework, the current methodology might be to charge the battery as quickly as possible while the environmental energy source is available (while a solar panel is in sunlight for example). What is new in your approach? To our knowledge there does not y
