The purpose of this experiment is to find out which fabric out of polyester, polypropylene, cotton and wool is the most suitable to make a sling back chair. Polyester is a synthetic fibre (manmade fibres that come from chemical resources). Polyester is water resistant and flame resistant. It can be used for clothes like pants, skirts, tops, shirt and suits. Polypropylene is also a synthetic fibre it is water proof and is a light weight material. It is a non-toxic fabric; this means it doesn't get stained easily. Cotton is a natural fibre and is found on a plant called cotton flowers. There are many properties of cotton a few of them are it is soft, strong and durable and versatile. Wool is a natural fibre obtained from sheep and certain other animals.
