Question 1. Retributive Justice is a philosophy that the punishment ought to fit the crime; e.g., "eye for an eye" philosophy. Give your position on retributive justice and reasons why you believe or do not believe this philosophy is effective as a means of justice.
Question 2. Today, the law does not require forfeiture of property for committing a felony; therefore the common law rule is no longer applicable. Explain how most states distinguish felonies from misdemeanors and explain what, in your opinion, should be just for victims.
