A Colleen fall down while mountain climbing and in process bumps her head numerous times. Shortly after her fall she starts to feel headaches and blurred vision. Diagnostic tests at hospital reveal an epidural hematoma (blood clot) in temporo-parietal area that is expanding downward to press against brain stem. For few days Colleen remains unresponsive however is still alive. Finally, she undergoes surgery which corrects the problem Describe what should have happened and why Colleen was capable to survive her accident.
