Task sequencing and the network diagram are the precursors to a formalized project schedule. Investigate MS Project and discuss the various ways that tasks can be formally linked in the tool (e.g. start to finish, finish to start, etc.) Which program option do you suspect is the most commonly used? Are there any that you should be careful with?
