Several times you have heard of people talking about data and information, and in many situations they are using the terms in the wrong context. Take this opportunity to define the following terms: data, information, and knowledge.
• Talk about how the information systems you have chosen for your organization can be used to transform data into information, and information into knowledge.
• Describe why you think it is important for an organization to obtain knowledge from its data, and what happens to organizations that do not take this step?
