Please use the template in the next page for references as guidelines for preparing the position papers.

Position Paper Title -

These instructions give you guidelines for preparing your position papers. Your response should be single spaced, Times New Roman, 10 pt font for the main text. Your response should be a total of 1-2 pages and must include scholarly references at the end of your document. Make sure you take a stance and defend it using references. This exercise is intended to make you think and to defend your position, an exercise that will be commonplace in your role as a systems engineer. All papers are due the Wednesday following their assignment in class (one week later).

One point is for whether or not you used this template.  Three points are for the quality of your references and appropriate citation of them.  Two points are for the clarity of your stance (i.e., is your position on the question clear?).  Four points are for the clarity of your discussion (i.e., does it make sense? is it well thought out?).
