systematic sampling this is sometimes

Systematic Sampling: This  is  sometimes called as sampling by  regular intervals. The method  is also known  as  "pseudo-simple random  samples"  as they have properties similar to  random samples. A systematic sample is selected by  first listing  the population, choosing a random start to  select the  "Kth"  number and then selecting every "Kth"  unit. The random start  is essential component of  the process.
