For each of the following management approaches: Systematic Management, Scientific Management, Bureaucracy, Administrative Management, Human Relations, Quantitative Management, Organizational Behavior, and Contingency Theory; give examples you have seen. How effective or ineffective were they?
Note: Your examples can be either from your personal or business world. As we can see from the evolutionary compendium the managerial function has transpired through several phases. The systems and scientific approach first offered us a basic understanding of the workplace and the ability of the human element to function therein whereas more recent refinements have given us a more systematic approach and all too often the bureaucratic theory as well.
