Symbolic and substantive policies


As society continues to evolve, the way in which communities and political parties approach issues are detrimental to the public policy model. Identifying the issue and courses of action needed to solve the problem that must be shared by all parties involved. In many cases, the type of policy, level of government needed to pass policy (federal, state, county), and how it affects the community will decide the amount of support it receives.
