Surface of the glycerin

A uniform block of height 0.460 m, floats in glycerin of density 1260.0 kg/m3. The top of the block is 0.074 m above the surface of the glycerin. What is the density of the block?

Olive oil with a density of 918.0 kg/m3 is poured slowly over the block until the block is totally immersed. Assume that the two liquids do not mix. How much does the depth to which the block immersed in the glycerin change? For convention use positive as meaning more of the block is immersed in the glycerin and negative as less.
