Epidemiological and Needs Assessment
Suppose the organization you work for has conducted an epidemiological assessment for Community A and found that heart disease is the number one cause of death and disability among adults within that community and your organization would like to fund a prevention/early detection program targeting heart disease.
You are tasked to conduct a needs assessment within Community A, and after conducting and reviewing the results of that needs assessment, you find that the community members are most concerned with their safety and would like to see a program to reduce violence. In fact, very few mentioned heart disease as something they are concerned about.
