Carefully reflect upon the issues and challenges involved in this leadership transition, and think regarding how the background readings apply to this experience. Then write down a 2- to 3-page paper addressing the following issues:
1. Explain the circumstances in which this manager was replaced. What led to this person being replaced, and how was a successor chosen?
2. Was the transition smooth, or were there difficulties involved?
3. Pick one of the articles or book chapters from background materials that you think would have been most useful for this leadership transition, and explain how you think one or more of the concepts from this article or book chapter could have been applied in your workplace.
