For your Unit 5 Complete assignment, write a narrative essay (minimum 1500 words) in which you address and discuss the questions and statements listed below. • The nation's system of emergency management relies predominantly upon the efforts of unpaid volunteer first responders. Is this type of system sustainable? Why or why not?
• What could be done to improve it, and at what cost? Is possible to improve it? Why or why not? Expound upon your ideas.
• When examining the assessment, explain how you transfer all of the individual assessment scores from the category worksheets into the Summary of Assessment items for Homeland Security Form.
• Discuss how the scores from the Summary of Scores (pages 158-159) are transferred to the *Hierarchy of Homeland Security Assessment Needs' form (page 160) and explain why this is necessary.
