Discussion:
For each review, you will write an essay of 500-700 words each summarizing and discussing two current news articles that concern the interaction between markets and government. News articles may come from a newspaper, a news TV or radio program (with transcript), podcast (with transcript), or reputable online source. The essays must evaluate each article using economic concepts with references to books or peer-reviewed articles..
The reviews must be written in current Turabian format, and complete citations of the reviewed article and any additional sources must be provided. No more than 20 percent of the reviews may consist of direct quotations from the reviewed articles. A legible scanned copy of the print article or a link to the online source must be provided with each review. The article itself must be no more than 3 years old. Additional sources, if used, may be of any date. Papers below the minimum length of 500 words or over the maximum of 700 words will be subject to a reduction in points.
