Pixar Brain Trust
Directions: This is an interesting case because it's about Pixar and what it believes helps make Pixar so successful- its brain trust that helps keeps its development of movie on track. This is about creativity and design and all projects need to have this-some major and some minor.
Here are your directions:
Slide 1-Title page- as always Mini Case 3, Pixar Trust, MGT 444-day and section number, your group names in alphabetical order
Slide 2- Summarize what Pixar says makes their braintrust. List the characteristics and how it works.
Slide 3- where did it come from, why does it work for Pixar
Slide 4, 5- How can the essence of what the brain trust is and how it works be used by other companies in other industries.
Slide 6-takeaway. What have you learned from Pixar and what does it mean for you as a potential Project Manager or Manager
