Paper: Pick any topic that we have covered this semester. Find a current event and two academic resources on this topic. Your short paper will be a theoretical critique of the topic that you have chosen.
Your paper should do the following:
1. Describe your topic. What is it and what is its importance to society.
2. Summarize the current event and the academic work on the topic.
3. Identify a theory that can be used to explain the topic and apply that theory to the topic.
4. Suggest possible policy changes that could be made to improve the issues with this topic.
Your paper must be three double spaced pages long. It should have no more than 1-inch margins and no larger font than 12 point.
