Identify a dispute involving your organization, or an organization with which you are very familiar, that was resolved through a formal legal process such as litigation, arbitration, or mediation. This dispute could relate to any relationship within or external to the organization. An internal example could be a dispute between the company and an employee. External examples could be a dispute between the organization and a customer, or the organization and the community.
Write a 2- to 3-page paper in which you:
Identify the form of dispute resolution utilized.
Analyze why this type of resolution was chosen.
Identify the issue in dispute and the positions of the parties.
Describe the outcome of the resolution process.
Analyze the effectiveness of the process.
Summarize any recommendations you might make as to what should have been done differently, and why.
