In the second part of Terry Cooke-Davies' book Aspects of Complexity there is a change of focus from practitioners to academics. The four chapters that are occupy our attention are: -

o Chapter 10: Systems Thinking and the Systems Movement, Peter Checkland and Terry Williams
o Chapter 11: Systems Engineering and Project Management, Andrew Daw
o Task discussion is for you to summarise what you intend to write regarding these points. I am also preempting chapters 10 and 11 a bit with the tools aspect, but I'm sure you will recall we spent quite some time looking at systems thinking and systems engineering in previous units in this programme?
