Such a huge statement, during war times many had zero money or they were fighting in the war itself. European areas that were under Nazi control would not allow such art to be displayed or even purchased, like you said resources are slim also making it difficult for artist to express themselves or even make a living. I'm only wondering how much fine art was lost in the war and how many artist faced death or jail time over control.explain
