Some of the regulatory agencies are:
- CMS or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services which is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services responsible for overseeing Medicare and Medicaid programs;
- FDA responsible for protecting the publicâ??s health related to food, drugs, vaccines, medical devices, cosmetics, dietary products, etc;
- The AHRQ (Agency for Healthcare research and quality) responsible for conducting research on improving healthcare quality.
- OSHA and CDC.
