There are many ways you can apply your knowledge of medical terminology outside of your job. You hear medical terms used in the news, on fictional medical shows on television, and you read these terms in magazines and newspapers.
How would you feel about using your knowledge of medical terminology outside of your work setting? What are some circumstances where you think you would feel comfortable using this knowledge? Why would you feel more comfortable in some circumstances than others? Are there things you might want to do to increase your comfort level with using your medical terminology knowledge outside of work? Why or why not might you want to do this?
