Countries located west of Germany will be Western European Union and countries located east of Germany will be Eastern European Union. Currently, the European Union comprises of 28 countries, 12 are which from west and 16 are in the east. The west comprises of Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The east comprises of Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden. The next step is to use Gazprom's annual report of natural gas and determine how much natural gas is exported into each country in addition to the amount of money per thousand cubic meters. The last step is to add the volume of natural gas in cubic meters along the amount of money in both regions to determine if the amount and price and amount differences in the two regions.
