Study of values in philosophy-axiology

Considering Values:

The Word for the study of Values in Philosophy is "Axiology," which has the same root as "Axiom" in mathematics. In Axiology, however, values are studied as to what motivates, inspires, of is responsible for human decision making. I would like to introduce Four basic Value Orientations in American Politics and Business:

A. Libertarian Values--or that which prizes above all else personal liberty;

B. Communitarian Values--or that which values above all else quality of life issues concerning the collective of humanity (which often include environmental and human rights issues above and beyond economic concerns);

C. Egalitarian Values---or that which prizes above all else the equality of all human beings in terms of their allotment of power and property; and

D. Efficiency Values--or that which prizes above all else the practicality, cost-effectiveness, and material returns of a given endeavor

Discusion Question:

Let's try to research, expand upon, identify, and otherwise discuss which values you believe are weighted in business decision making, and if compromises between these positions is possible ( Answer should come to around 200-300 words. Thanks)( I work at a motel as a desk clerk)
