Students will write a 5-8 page research review of an issue relevant to young children and play, using at least 5 professional research journal resources (see Resources/References section of the syllabus above). Students will prepare a PowerPoint presentation to assist in their 5-minute oral presentation to the class. Please include:
A synopsis of the research findings
Supporting evidence from theorists
Findings in relation to your previously held notions about child development, play, and/or early education
Enrichment opportunities to support learning through play for your identified topic
A copy of each journal article (can be submitted via Digital Dropbox)
