Students are required to prepare a one page mini-poster explanation of an application of Physics in a Technological, Biomedical, Biological or Engineering context. It is essential that the project integrate the text with one or more diagrams and graphs. The project should be only on one single side of one sheet of A4 paper. This is in practice equivalent to a limit of approximately 300 words.
. The project would be marked upon consideration of how well the work fits the following four criteria, each marked out of 5, giving a total score out of 20:
1. The physics theory is correctly explained, and appropriate physics terminology, units and symbols are used.
2. The meaning of what is written is clear to the reader. Diagrams and/or graphs are clear and relevant. The project is concise.
3. Three appropriate resources have been consulted, and these are referenced accurately. Information from these sources has been coherently synthesised.
