Structure of the IMF:

The Central office of the IMF is in Washington DC, USA. It has 184 members. It is affiliated to the UNO. The highest authority of the IMF is the Board of Governors in which each member country is represented by a Governor and alternate Governor. The Board of Governors is the policy-making body. The day-to-day functions of the IMF are the responsibility of the Managing Director who is selected by the Board of Executives.
