Select a topic, issue, trend, or strategy of effective practice regarding volunteering. Possible themes could be volunteer recruitment, retention, management, leadership, etc. Review several volunteer journals to identify topical issues and themes. Examples of journals that may be reviewed are: International Journal of Volunteer AdministrationFA, Journal of Contemporary Ethnography*, e-Volunteerism, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly*, Nonprofit Management and Leadership*, Community Development Journal FA PAACE Journal of Lifelong Learning FA, and The Volunteer Management Report FA.
