The goal of the project is for you work through your ideas into well thought out strategies for sustainability. In order to determining sustainability goals and an implementation plan, you will also need to determine how the organization (BHCC for most of your projects) would theoretically measure success (environmental and monetary) for this hypothetical project.
Be sure to:
1) Address the guidelines to the best of your ability
2) Fully describe the details of your project in your 3-4 page paper accompanying your project.
• Your projects should address the following questions:
o What sustainability issues at BHCC (Bunker Hill Community College) is your project seeking to address?
o What has BHCC done with regards to this issue already?
o What is your strategy to improve this problem or meet this sustainability goal?
o Why is this strategy a good fit for BHCC ?
o What are the pertinent details of this strategy? How would this strategy work to accomplish sustainability goals?
o How would this project be implemented? Provide details.
o Who are the stakeholders that would be affected by this project, or that would have to be involved in this project?
o What are the environmental benefits?
o How can environmental benefits be quantified (measured for this project)? Detail your plan to track and measure success of your project in terms of environmental goals.
o How can monetary costs and savings (in the long-term) be quantified (measured for this project)? Detail your plan to track and measure success of your project in terms of costs and savings.
