Statistic calculated from the three different sections

Susan teaches an online statistics course and she wants to know if the average age for the students in her class is the same as the average age of all Brandman students. The mean and standard deviation for her class are as follows: Section 1 M = 34.69 & SD = 7.944.

Her colleague teaches two additional sections of the same statistics course. The mean and standard deviation of the students' ages are as follows: Section 2 M = 33.89 & SD = 10.380 Section 3 M = 38.84 & SD = 12.791

Compare the statistic calculated from the three different sections. Is there a considerable difference between them? Why would this be?
