Problem: Students will prepare a speech to the United Nations of the treatment of Indigenous people across Turtle Island. Students will pick a topic to speak about. - The speech must be a minimum of pages doubled spaced with in text citations. - The speech should include historically events, current events and how you are impacted by the treatment. Wampum belt: Students are asked to design a wampum belt to present to the United Nations as a part of their speech. - One page drawing with an explanation of the symbols that are used within the Wampum.
