Some of the pitfalls that should be avoided when implementing a change communication plan include poor communication, not involving the correct people in the plan, and underestimating the time or effort to handle the change. Communication is key because you must include everyone who has an interest in the change with every detail of the change so they can get behind the idea, especially the overall goal. If the communication plan is represented inaccurately, or at the wrong stage in the process everything can fall apart.
