Some national statistics indicate the self-reported number

Some national statistics indicate the self-reported number of minutes per week of exercise is μ = 96.8 among college students. At the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point an advertising campaign was aimed at new freshmen, encouraging them to increase their level of physical activity. Two researchers asked a random sample of these students to keep a log of their exercise time (in minutes) for a week near the end of their freshman year. They indicated the following values:

105 102 109 114 72 230 50 90 77

99 120 142 98 44 205 65 130

D) Explain how your hypothesis test would have been different if you had been asked to test whether exercise times following advertising blitz differed significantly from μ = 96.8. Would you have had the same conclusion?

E) Explain how your hypothesis test would have been different if you had been asked to compare these data to numbers from a control group, who had not received the advertising.
