You have been interviewing for a new job and the company contacts you to make a job offer. The offer is good, but slightly below what you were hoping for the starting salary.
1. Select an organization at which you would like to work.
2. Research your selected organization.
3. Research "salary negotiation" using the University of Phoenix Library or a search engine.
4. Research employer sites such as Glassdoor.com®, salary.com®, GuideStar.org® (for Not-for-Profit organizations), and so on for salary information.
