Solid Modeling:
3-D solid modelling techniques provide the user along with complete information regarding the model. These may be quickly created without having to describe individual locations, as with wire-frame models and surface models, for example it shows the face of the model and the representation is unambiguous. The shapes are visually more recognisable. Putting together several elements also need less time.
There are a number of methods representing solids. The different methods contain their own specialities and strengths.
