Thus, the title puts Nora as the person in charge of everything by giving her ownership or control over the situation, which she takes advantage of by leaving. So, is this a story of an awakening to the fact that she's had power and control all along but did not realize it? or is it moment of awakening at how dehumanizing her husband cares for her?
