1) In Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken”, what type of choices do you think this fork in the road represents for the speaker? What personal choices does this poem remind you of? Be specific.
2) What are readers meant to take away from “How It Feels to Be Colored” by Zora Neale Hurston? Identify any themes, morals or messages found within the text. Use specific examples.
3) In “The Snows of Kilimanjaro” by Ernest Hemingway, the relationship between Harry and Helen is quarrelsome throughout the story. Do you feel that was always the way they related? Back up your ideas with examples of their behavior from the story.
