Small metal sphere carrying a total charge

A small metal sphere carrying a total charge of q1= -2.8C, is held in a stationary position through insulating supports. A second small metal sphere, having a total charge of q2 = -7.8C with a mass of 1.5g, is projected in the direction of q1. If the two spheres are 0.8m apart, q2 is moving toward q1 having speed 22.0 m/s. Suppose that the two spheres can be treated as point charges. You can avoid the force of gravity.

i) Determine the speed of q2 if the spheres are 0.4 m apart?

ii) Determine how close q2 gets to q2
