"Situated knowledge" is knowledge that includes explicit information about how the researcher made sure that only the best possible informants were relied upon as sources of information the research methodologies the researcher has used how the researcher's data will produce useful knowledge guaranteed to help people with specific problems the sociocultural background and commitments of researchers and their informants
