The Stages of Change model and the development of motivational interviewing
Using emotion
Examine some aspect of health-related behavior (e.g. smoking).
Written Assignment should be 3-4 typed pages, with 2-3 strong arguments supported by 2-3 of these weeks' readings. Please make sure your assignment is double-spaced using Times New Roman, 12-point font, and 1" margins. Include some outside sources to support your paper. Be sure to cite any references in APA Format.
Papers will be assessed using the following criteria:
Student identified and described one of the four main theoretical perspectives examined in your readings.
Did the student adequately examine some aspect of health-related behavior (e.g. smoking?).
Student properly/adequately/appropriately used 2-3 direct quotations from the readings.
There was a clear and sound introduction to the topic, including the introduction of the case study and an overview of the arguments to be used.
There was a final paragraph dedicated to a clear and summative conclusion.
All references cited in APA format, with a source list.
Paper professionally written without spelling or grammar errors.
