Assignment:
We are designing a new type of racing boat hull. In the model tests in a towing basin we will use a model one-tenth the size of the actual boat. We know that the drag of the boat is a function of the Reynold's and froude numbers. Can we simultaineously hold both of these constant between model and real boat in our tests? If not, how will we test the model?
