Upon realizing her apartment is too small for business meetings, Peggy now wants to secure a place for her team to work. You tell her that this will require her to sign a commercial lease. You offer to locate a sample lease agreement in your state. For this assignment, you will upload a sample lease or provide a link to the internet location that displays the sample lease from your jurisdiction.
- To help Peggy understand the use of this lease, identify the 3-5 provisions in the lease you think are most important to the landlord and which 3 to 5 provisions are most important to her, as the tenant. Explain the significance of each provision in 1 to 2 paragraphs.
- You will be assessed on the rationale you use in addressing the questions/issue posted, and how well you justify your argument regarding the issues.
