Over last decade, the employee relationship agenda has shifted dramatically. The concentration is henceforth on relationship between the employer and employee rather than on employees themselves and the ways they can be controlled.

Following such change, discuss the challenges which managers are being made to face vis a vis the employee relation function in modern organisations.
