Line Graph (Double): Show the comparative profits for Microsoft and Apple from 2003 to 2013.
Organizational Chart: Show the structure/organization for a Hospital.
Each visual should be numbered sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.) and titled (Be brief, but clear) and in the correct position. Study your text samples for types of titles; see the first bullet point on page 47 for positions.
2. Any visuals that require you to do research should be properly sourced.
Visuals not requiring any additional research should be sourced simply by yourself, for example: Source: Jane A. Student, personal weekly schedule. OR Source: John A. Student, personal time schedule distribution.
3. Tables are titled ABOVE the visual, but others are BELOW. This is in the first bullet of page 47. The table figures in our text have titles at the top, and sources too. It's the use of them in the text book that makes this confusing. So, follow the bullet point, please.

1. Is there ample white space around your visual?
2. Are ALL ELEMENTS of the visual labeled? Is there a KEY if necessary to show scale, direction, and etc? Not all visuals need keys, but some do. Be sure you consider this in your peer review groups. Make sure your visual actually says something. For example, you can't just show a percentage without revealing what the whole actually is. For example, if you create a pie chart of your day, we can assume that day is 24 hours, but what if you actually configured it out of 12 waking hours and did not include the other 12? While I think a 24 hour day is more logical, some students have not created clear visuals because they see a day or a year or a semester a little differently. So, just be sure that you are clear, clear, clear.
3. Can the visual be READ? Sometimes students make the visual so small that it is unclear. Do not do this, please! The goal is about DESIGN and clarity through that. If I can't read the visual, you've not done the work correctly. Are all of the words clearly legible with no funny spaces separating syllables?
