Show heating-humidification process on sketch of chart

A solar collector is used to dry biomass in a storage bin. Outside air at 35o and 60% RH enters the collector and is heated to 90oF. The air saturates adiabatically (constant energy) as it moves through the biomass. Assume the energy required to heat the biomass is negligible and the air is saturated as it leaves the storage bin while answering the following:

a) Show the heating-humidification process on a sketch of the psychrometric chart by drawing lines showing the process. Indicate where the air is in the solar collector and where it is in the biomass.

b) How much energy (BTU) must be added to each pound of dry air?

c) How many pounds of water per pound dry air is added to the air as it moves thru biomass?

d) A fan forces air through the solar collector and grain mass at a rate of 500 cfm. How many gallons of moisture are removed from the biomass each day?

d) What are the final wet bulb and dry bulb temperatures of the air?
